DBI Foundation is funded principally by the support of the Board of Directors, Development partners, gifts and donations from individuals and corporate institutions that identify with our vision.
The DBI Children’s village is the first of its kind in the Niger Delta and will seat on the 8 plots of land donated to the foundation in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. The principles of the Village will be structured in accordance with international laws governing similar children’s villages as contained in the National Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children and similar legal instruments.

Nutritional Therapy Center
Sadly, in the Niger Delta, Children living with HIV still die from malnutrition, A well- quipped Center for Prevention and treatment of malnutrition in children living with HIV. this will be the first of its kind in the Niger Delta.
Vocational Skills And Craft Center For Children With Special Needs
DBI wants to go beyond academics to show children with special needs where their talents lie, and this is for every child who has either completed primary/secondary schools for self-sustenance. Focusing on Tailoring, Baking/food Production, Tie and Die, Event Management, Hairdressing/Beauty, ICT etc
Youth Entrepreneur Academy
The academy will provide Wholistic Business training and leadership programs for young entrepreneurs who have completed their skills/ craft trainings preparing them for their desired future.
STEM Lab: (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
The Lab will provide special needs children with Computer literacy as a better and quicker way to interact, network, seek help, gain
access to information and learning, skill development and employment. Encouraging creativity and innovation among special needs students.
Recreation/Games Center
Children with special needs are often stigmatized and not included in recreational activities, the game center will promote sports as a vehicle to support the Children, DBI Foundation will leverage the power of football and other sports to mobilize the marginalized young persons to end stigmatization as a result of Disability and or HIV. with your support, DBI Foundation will be able to provide sports facilities needed to equip these young people with appropriate skills necessary for creating employment and socialization.
